Casey
Casey Canal reimagines an urban waterway as a resilient neighborhood where architecture, landscape, and water coexist. The proposal explores floating housing, adaptable public spaces, and ecological infrastructure as a new approach to living with water rather than building against it.
Scope
Resilient Urbanism

Approach
The project investigates how urban development can respond to changing water levels and environmental conditions. By integrating floating architecture with accessible waterfront landscapes, it explores a relationship between residential life, public space, and the canal's natural systems.
Intervention
The design introduces floating residential units and public spaces alongside a landscaped canal corridor, connected through pedestrian pathways and shared waterfront areas. Together, these elements propose a flexible urban environment that accommodates water fluctuations while creating new opportunities for community life.
